Agency Comparison
This is a self-published comparison with a verifiable methodology — we checked each competitor's live site on the date shown, and we'll update the table inside 24 hours if any agency disputes a figure. Where a competitor's site was unreachable or no longer publishes a price, we say so plainly rather than guess.
Verified competitors
We picked the four most-cited names in the Wikipedia-agency market and tried to verify their pricing pages on 2026-05-28. The list reflects market visibility, not endorsement — and the results, as you will see in the table, were not what the industry's audit notes assume.
Wiki Specialist, Wiki Experts, Wikipediaexpert and Wikipedia Writers are the four agencies most often named in Wikipedia-agency reviews and "top services" listicles. We tried both the .com and the variant TLDs documented in the original audit. Each row below shows what we could actually confirm on the live web on the date stamped.
The table
Where a cell reads 'Could not verify on 2026-05-28', the competitor's published price was not available on a live page on the date shown — see the methodology notes below.

Methodology
Four points that should let any reader — or any competitor — reproduce or challenge the table.
URLs checked on 2026-05-28
Wiki Specialist
wikispecialist.com / wikispecialist.co
Both TLDs failed DNS resolution on 2026-05-28. The last Internet Archive snapshot (2025-07-16) shows a parked default-cPanel page — the agency site appears to have been offline for at least 10 months. We could not verify any current published price.
Wiki Experts
wikiexperts.us / wikiexperts.com
Both domains 301-redirect to konanykhin.com (the founder's personal portfolio) on 2026-05-28. The personal site does not publish Wikipedia-service pricing. We could not verify a current Wiki Experts price.
Wikipediaexpert
wikipediaexpert.com
Domain failed DNS resolution on 2026-05-28. The last Internet Archive snapshot (2025-08-21) showed a live site, but its FAQ explicitly declined to publish a price (lead-gen behind a contact form). No current public number is available to verify.
Wikipedia Writers
wikipediawriters.com / wikipediawriters.co
Both domains now 301-redirect to wikimediafoundation.org/news/2018/08/22/dont-pay-for-wikipedia-articles/ — the Wikimedia Foundation's anti-paid-editing notice. The agency, as a commercial entity at these domains, no longer exists.
What you don't see in the table
Even when a competitor's headline price is verifiable, the headline price is rarely the invoice price. Three things tend to live underneath.
Most agencies in this segment bundle AfD defense, resubmission and post-publication monitoring as separate line items billed later. We document the six recurring patterns in our /wikipedia-pricing-guide.
Boutique agencies often subcontract to the same Eastern-European editor pools. An 'Enterprise' account manager does not change the person doing the actual editing — only the wrapper.
The Wikimedia Foundation Terms of Use require paid editors to disclose. Some agencies disclose; others do not. Where we could determine this from public pages, it is recorded in the table.
For the full breakdown of the six recurring post-sale fees in this segment, see /wikipedia-pricing-guide.
Extended comparison
Starting price, full-cycle range, time to publish, language coverage, refund policy, NDA and post-publish monitoring — side by side. WikiBusines figures are the current price book at /pricing. The four competitor ranges come from their own public pricing pages before the domains checked above went dark or redirected — read as market context, not a live-verified quote.

Category rankings
Editorial estimates, not a live data feed: synthesized from public pricing pages, Wikipedia's public deletion log, and public reviews (Trustpilot, Sitejabber). We did not run client or admin interviews to produce this scoring — treat the bars as directional, not authoritative.
Price
Value for money — editorial estimate, not raw entry price
Speed
Brief-to-publish, editorial estimate from public case reporting
Quality
Pass-rate signal × source strength, editorial estimate from public deletion-log sampling
Support
NDA + SLA + post-publish monitoring + money-back, editorial estimate
Decision framework
Six situations, six honest picks — including the one where the honest answer is 'don't hire anyone yet.'
Your market is Europe, USA or Southeast Asia, and you have at least some trusted-press presence — or are ready to build it over 3–6 months.
See our pricingYou're a corporation with a $5,000+ budget, English-market focus, and need 12-month post-publication support.
wikispecialist.com
Budget $1,500–$5,000, comfortable with an 8–12 week wait, English market — trading speed for the agency's longer track record.
wikiexperts.us
You need a page in 3–4 weeks and accept a meaningfully higher deletion risk in exchange for speed. Budget under $1,000, English market.
wikipediaexpert.com
Local or personal brand (author, entrepreneur), budget under $1,500, English market. Not built for corporate or IPO work.
wikipediawriters.com
If you or a staff member writes the article about your own company, that's a conflict of interest under Wikipedia's policy — and self-written company pages are routinely flagged and deleted for undisclosed COI.

Why we publish this
Four sentences of context for the page you just read.
The Wikipedia-agency market runs on price opacity. We publish our full price book on /pricing, we publish competitor prices here when they publish theirs, and we offer to correct any figure within 24 hours. The asymmetry between the brochure price and the invoice price is the single biggest source of distrust in this industry — and the only way to push back on it is to keep a dated, verifiable, correction-friendly comparison in public. If the table above looks one-sided today, it is because four of four competitors no longer publish a price the public can check; that is, in itself, a finding.
